Use case: A client organization has ended its work with you and you want it out of your lists. Deleting it removes the organization and all of its members from your client lists and blocks their login. Their requests and records are kept, and you can restore everything later.
Before you delete: deleting an organization does not cancel its subscriptions. Cancel them first so the client is not charged again. See How to cancel a client subscription.
How to delete a client organization
Only portal admins and admins can delete organizations.
Go to Users > Clients, open the Organizations tab and select the organization.
Click the three dots at the top right of the organization header and select Delete.
In the Confirmation window, click Confirm.
What happens when you delete an organization
All members of the organization are deleted with it and can no longer log in.
The organization and its members disappear from Users > Clients. To see them again, turn on Include deleted organizations or Include deleted users in Filters.
Requests, invoices and files are not removed.
Subscriptions keep running until you cancel them.
How to restore a deleted organization
Open the deleted organization (turn on Include deleted organizations on the Organizations tab). The page shows Organization deleted. Click Restore organization and confirm. All its members are restored too.
For more, see How to restore a client.
Delete a single client instead
To remove one person but keep the organization, go to Users > Clients, click the three dots on the client's row and select Delete, then confirm in the Delete client window.
