Use case: You deleted a client by mistake, or a former client comes back. Deleted clients can't log in, but their account and requests are kept, so you can restore them in a few clicks.
On your team, only portal admins and admins can restore clients and organizations. Organization owners can also restore deleted members of their own organization from Organization in their sidebar.
How to restore a client
Go to Users > Clients and stay on the Clients tab.
Click Filters and turn on Include deleted users. Deleted clients now appear in the list. Use Name, Email or Organization to find the one you need.
Click the three dots at the end of the deleted client's row and select Restore.
In the Restore client window, click Confirm.
If the client's organization was deleted too, it is restored with them.
You can also restore a client from their organization's Members tab: turn on Include deleted users in the filters, then select Restore from the three dots on their row.
How to restore an organization
Go to Users > Clients and open the Organizations tab.
Click Filters and turn on Include deleted organizations.
Select the deleted organization. The page shows Organization deleted.
Click Restore organization and confirm.
Restoring an organization also restores all of its members.
Adding a client whose email was deleted
If you use Create client with the email address of a deleted client, the window says the user already exists and asks Do you want to restore the client? Click Restore client to bring the old account back instead of creating a new one.
Good to know
Restoring doesn't change subscriptions. If the client's subscription was cancelled, add a new one from the organization's Services and subscriptions tab with New service or subscription.
To restore a team member instead, see the team members article.
To delete an organization, see How to delete a client organization.
