When a client marks a request as completed, ManyRequests can ask them to rate the work and leave a short review. The review stays with the request, so your team can see how each delivery landed without chasing feedback by email.
Use case: Your client approves the final brand guidelines and clicks Mark as completed. A window asks for a star rating and a comment, so you get feedback on the spot, and your account manager sees it on the client's organization page.
How to turn on client reviews
Go to Settings > Modules and extensions and click the gear icon next to Requests.
Scroll to Request reviews and turn it on.
Save your changes.
To stop asking for reviews, turn Request reviews off. While it is off, reviews are hidden in the request activity, on organization and team member pages, and in the Reviews report.
How to remind clients to leave a review
Clients don't always review a request right away. ManyRequests can send them one reminder email a few days after the request is completed.
Go to Settings > Modules and extensions and click the gear icon next to Requests.
Under Request reviews, turn on Review reminder.
In Days after completion, enter how many days to wait. The default is 5.
Click Save changes.
The reminder goes out at 09:00 in your portal's time zone, once the number of days has passed. It's sent only when:
The request was completed after you turned the reminder on. Older requests never get one. If you turn the reminder off and on again, it starts again from that moment.
The request is still in your completed status and hasn't been reviewed yet.
It goes to the client who owns the request, once per completion. If the request is reopened and completed again, the client can get a new reminder.
The email's subject is How did we do with '[request title]'? and its Leave a review button opens the request with the review window. On the Pro plan, you can change the wording in the Review reminder email template: see How to edit email templates. Clients can stop these emails by turning off Reminder to review a completed request in their notification preferences.
How clients leave a review
The client opens the request and clicks Mark as completed in the top right.
A Leave a review window opens. The client picks a rating from 1 to 5 stars and can add a comment under Your review (up to 255 characters).
The client clicks Submit. The request is marked as completed and the review is saved. The window then offers to create the next request. If you turned on tips and the rating is 4 or 5 stars, the window first offers the client to leave a tip: see How to let clients leave a tip after a review.
The window has two other options:
Skip marks the request as completed without a review. The client can review it later.
Cancel closes the window and leaves the request open.
If the client skipped the review, or your team completed the request, the client sees How was your experience? with a Leave a review link in the request activity. This follows the status you chose as Completed status in the Requests settings, even if you renamed it, for example to "Delivered". Only clients can leave reviews, and each request has one review.
Where to find client reviews
On the request
Open a completed request. The review appears in the Activity tab, with the stars and the comment.
On the organization
Go to Users > Clients, open the Organizations tab, select the organization and click Reviews. You see the Average rating, how the ratings are spread, and every review from that organization. You can search and filter the list.
On the team member
Go to Users > Team, select the team member and click Reviews. You see the reviews of the requests assigned to them, with their average rating.
In the Reviews report
Go to Reports > Reviews to see all reviews for a date range. You can filter by Team member, Organization, Client and Services, and click Export CSV to download the list. The report opens on the past month, so change the date range or use the arrows to look further back.
How to control who can see reviews
Portal admins and admins always see reviews. For team members, use the Access reviews permission:
Go to Settings > Modules and extensions and click the gear icon next to Users.
Under Team members, find Access reviews.
Turn it on or off and save your changes.
On: team members see reviews in the request activity. If they can also open client profiles, they see the organization Reviews tab.
Off: team members can't see any reviews, including reviews of their own work.
The Reviews report is for portal admins and admins only.
