How To Use Chat Messaging

Here's a simple way to send and receive messages via chat messaging with your team and clients.

How to Enable Chat Messaging on the ManyRequests Platform (Admin view)

  1. On your Dashboard, go to Settings > Modules and Extensions

  2. Click on Messaging

  3. Make sure it's enabled

How to Start a Chat with Clients / Organizations (Admin View)

  1. On your Dashboard, go to Messages

  2. Click on the + icon to start a New Chat

  3. On the pop-up, you can start a New Chat with Clients or Organizations


    Note: You can also add in clients of the same organization by selecting their names on the drop down.

  4. Click the Create button

  5. Craft your message

  6. Hit Send

How to Start a Chat with the Agency (Client View)

  1. On your Dashboard, head over to Messages

  2. Click on the + icon to start a New Chat

  3. On the pop-up, you can start a New Chat with the Agency or members


    Note: You can also add in members of the same organization by selecting their names on the drop down.

  4. Click the Create button

  5. Craft your message

  6. Hit Send

How to Edit / Delete Messages (Admin / Client View)

  1. Hover over the message you want to edit / delete

  2. Click on the desired icon

How to Delete the entire Chat (Admin / Client View)

  1. On Messages, select the desired chat to delete

  2. On the right hand side, look for the vertical three dots

  3. Click on the vertical three dots and select Delete chat
