Use case: You are a creative agency sharing large deliverables, such as high-resolution videos, design files or full branding packages, and you want to know what you and your clients can upload.
The short answer
Each file can be up to 10 GB. The limit applies to the files you and your clients upload in the portal: files on requests, comments and messages, order form file fields, and your file storage.
What happens if a file is larger than 10 GB?
The file is not uploaded.
Its tile turns red with a warning icon. Hover over the icon to see "The maximum file size is 10 GB".
Click the warning icon to remove the file, then upload a smaller one or use a link instead.
Sharing files larger than 10 GB
Upload the file to a cloud storage service (for example Google Drive or Dropbox) and paste the share link in a comment, a message or a form field.
Good to know
Spreadsheet previews: spreadsheet and CSV files over 10 MB cannot be previewed in the portal. You can still upload them and download them to view.
Interrupted uploads: if an upload is interrupted, for example because you closed the page, the unfinished file is cleaned up automatically after about a day. Upload it again.
Big uploads take time: large files are uploaded in parts. Keep the page open until the upload finishes.
