Use case: You want people visiting your website to browse your services and buy without logging in first. A "View our services" button that links to your ManyRequests catalog does this, and you never have to update your services in two places.
Step 1: Copy your catalog link
Your catalog lives at your portal address followed by /services, for example yourportal.manyrequests.io/services, or portal.yourdomain.com/services if you use a custom domain. You can also copy it from ManyRequests:
Go to Services > All services and open any service.
Under Share your service, find Catalog URL and click Copy to clipboard.
The catalog lists every service that has Show in catalog? turned on. Visitors who aren't logged in see the same catalog as your clients:
Step 2 (optional): Edit the catalog header
Go to Services > Catalog and click Edit catalog.
Click the header or the subheader and type your own text. You can also drag and drop the services to change their order.
Click Save changes.
Step 3: Add the link to your website
In your website builder, add a button.
Set the button text, for example "View our services" or "Browse our catalog".
Paste the catalog link you copied as the button's link.
Save and publish your changes.
Step 4: Test the button
Open your website in a private browser window, so you are not logged in.
Click the button and check that your catalog opens.
Check that the right services are listed with up-to-date prices.
Good to know
To send people to one service instead of the whole catalog, use its Service URL, next to the Catalog URL. It takes them straight to the form and checkout.
The link only works while the Billing module is on. If you turn it off, the catalog and checkout are switched off.
If you turned on Block services and catalog access for clients, logged-in clients can't open the catalog, even from your website. Visitors who aren't logged in still can. See How to hide the service catalog from clients' dashboards.
Want the order form inside your website instead of a link? You can embed an order form. See How to embed an order form on your website.
To choose which services appear and in what order, see How to manage your service catalog.
