📌 Use case
You have finished working on a request and no longer need it in your active workflow. Instead of deleting it, you want to keep it accessible for future reference, audits, or client history, without cluttering your active request board.
This is common for agencies that handle one-off projects, hourly work, or internal tasks that are fully wrapped up.
How archiving works in ManyRequests
ManyRequests does not have a separate “Archive” button. Instead, requests are considered archived when they are marked as Closed.
A Closed request:
Is removed from active boards and workflows
Remains accessible for reporting and historical reference
This is different from Completed, which is typically used to signal delivery while keeping the request visible in certain workflows.
For a deeper explanation, you can refer to the difference between Closed vs Completed statuses here.
Step-by-step: How to archive a request
Open the request you want to archive
Click on the request status dropdown
Select Closed
Save or confirm the status change
Once closed, the request is effectively archived and removed from your active queue.
