📌 Use Case:
You're ready to launch your service on ManyRequests and want to make sure your clients can pay you without any hiccups. Whether you're running a design subscription agency or offering one-off services, collecting payments efficiently is key. But what if your client prefers ACH? Or you're used to manually issuing invoices? Here's what you need to know.
Supported Payment Gateways
At the moment, ManyRequests supports the following payment methods:
1. Stripe (Credit/Debit Cards, Apple Pay, etc.)
The most seamless and popular option. Stripe makes it easy to accept card payments directly through your client portal. It supports:
Credit and debit cards
Apple Pay and Google Pay (when enabled)
Auto-charging subscriptions for recurring services
2. ACH Transfers (via Stripe)
For US-based clients who prefer bank-to-bank transfers, ManyRequests supports ACH payments through Stripe. This is especially useful for larger invoices or clients who prefer not to use credit cards.
To enable ACH:
You’ll need to have ACH transfers enabled in your Stripe account
Clients must verify their bank account (a one-time process)

3. Manual Payments (Bank Transfers, PayPal, Wise, etc.)
If you’re using a non-integrated payment method like:
Direct bank transfer
PayPal
Wise or other payment links
You can still track these payments manually in ManyRequests. Here’s how:
Create an invoice in the system
Select Manual payment as the method
Mark the invoice as paid once you’ve confirmed the transfer
This is ideal if you're working with international clients or using alternative platforms.

How to Set Up Payments
Go to Settings → Modules and Extensions → Billing
Choose your preferred method: Stripe or manual
If using Stripe, connect your Stripe account securely
If using manual payments, you can add instructions that your clients will see (e.g., your bank details or PayPal address)
👉🏼 Final Tips
For subscriptions, Stripe is highly recommended as it automates renewals and improves cash flow.
For one-off projects, manual payments or ACH might be more flexible, depending on your client's preferences.
You can mix and match! Some agencies use Stripe for subscriptions and allow manual for custom projects.
