We recently launched a new feature on ManyRequests called Brands wherein clients can have multiple brands under one account - this is very helpful for agency clients and also companies that have multiple sub-brands.
Brands contain all the information needed for each brand. These can be logos, fonts, colors, brand guides, Figma / website links, template files, etc. You can also customize the Brand form to add more fields.
In this article, you'll learn how to enable brands, how to edit the brands fields, and how to use brands.
How To Enable Brands
On your Dashboard, go to Settings > Portal
Click on the Advanced tab
Scroll down and look for the Brands section
Enable Brands
Click Save
How To Edit the Brand Form
Once you've enabled Brands, you'll see a link to Edit the brand form
Click on Edit brand form
You'll see two fields by default: Brand Name and Brand Logo
To add fields, click on "Add Item"
Select a field property from the dropdown and add in a name
Customize the placeholder text to add more context
Add in some help text if needed
Note: You can add as much fields as you need. Some most used fields are: File Group (for brand assets), Color picker (for brand colors), Short answer (for links), Paragraph (for brand description)
Once done customizing your form, click on Save.
How To Use Brands (Client View)
Create a Brand
On your dashboard, head over to Brands and click on the plus sign
Fill out the form with the necessary details
Once done, click on Create Brand.
You'll be redirected to the Brand Profile wherein you can make edits / updates
To download all assets, head over to the Files tab and click on "Download All Files"
Reference a Brand
Each request gives you the ability to reference a brand. This makes it easier for team members to head over to the brand and download assets to use.
Option 1 (via Requests)
To reference a Brand, create a Request
Under Brands, select the brand from the dropdown
Proceed filling out the rest of the Request form
Click on Create Request
Option 2 (via Brands)
On your Dashboard, head over to the Brands section and click on the downward arrow
Select the Brand
On the Brand Details page, click on "Create Request" on the top right
Proceed on making the request
Where you'll see the Brand Reference?
Requests that are tied to specific brands will contain the brand on its summary. Team members can click on the brand and be redirected to the Brand detail page for easy and quick access to the brand assets.
