How to share a service's checkout link

Copy a service's checkout link and add it to your website, emails or posts so clients can buy that service directly.

Written by Gabriel Lecointere

Use case: You want people to buy a service straight from your website, a sales email or a social post. Every service has its own checkout link. Put it behind a "Buy now" button and clients land on the request form and payment page for that service.

Copy a service's checkout link

You can copy the link from the services list or from the service page.

From the services list

  1. Go to Services > All services.

  2. Click the three dots on the service's row and choose Copy payment link. The link is copied to your clipboard.

Copy payment link in the service row menu

From the service page

  1. Click the service's name in Services > All services.

  2. Under Share your service, click Copy to clipboard next to Service URL.

Share your service block with the Service URL and Catalog URL

The link looks like this: https://your-portal-domain/services/service-name-123abc/checkout. Use it as the target of a button or link on your website, or send it to a client.

What clients see

The link opens the checkout for that one service: the service's request form on the left and the order summary with the payment options on the right. People who don't have an account yet can buy from the same page. Team members can't open the checkout.

Good to know

  • Pre-apply a coupon: add ?coupon=YOURCODE to the end of the link. See How to create auto-applied coupons.

  • Link to all your services: the Catalog URL in the same block opens your service catalog instead of one service. Only services with Show in catalog? turned on appear there.

  • Admins can't pay: if you open the link while logged in as an admin, the pay button is disabled ("Admins cannot complete orders."). To test the flow, use the built-in test client, John Doe (ACME Corp.). See How to test your client journey safely.

  • Need more than one service on a page, or your own questions? Use an order form. Order forms can also be embedded in your website with an iframe code. See How to use custom order forms.
