How to embed a live chat in your client portal

Connect Intercom, Crisp, Tawk.to, LiveChat, HubSpot or Customerly so clients can chat with you from their portal.

Written by Gabriel Lecointere

Add the live chat tool you already use to your client portal. Your clients see the chat widget on every page of the portal and can reach you without leaving it.

Use case: your support team answers questions in Intercom. Connect it to ManyRequests, and clients can start a chat from their dashboard while you keep all conversations in one inbox.

Supported live chat providers

  • Intercom

  • Crisp

  • Tawk.to

  • LiveChat

  • HubSpot

  • Customerly

You can connect one provider at a time.

Good to know

  • The chat widget only shows to clients. You and your team don't see it in the portal.

  • With Intercom and Customerly, ManyRequests passes the client's name and email to the chat, so you know who you're talking to.

  • To remove the chat, open your provider in Settings > Integrations > Live chat, turn off Enabled and click Save changes.

  • Connecting a different provider replaces the current one.
