Use case: you need to share paid invoices with your accountant, load them into a reporting tool, or keep a record of what came in during a given period. Instead of copying invoice details by hand, export them from ManyRequests as a CSV file.
You need to be an admin or portal admin with access to invoices. The Invoices page only appears when invoice management and the checkout experience are turned on for your portal.
How to export invoices to CSV
In the left sidebar, click Invoices.
Click Export in the top right corner, next to Create invoice. On a phone, tap the download icon next to the filters instead.
The Export invoices window opens. Click the start or end date to open the calendar, then click the first and last day of the period you want. Both dates start on today.
Click Export. Your browser downloads a file named
invoices.csv.
Good to know: only Paid invoices are exported. Draft, Pending, Failed and Refunded invoices are left out, and so are invoices with no line items. The date range is matched against the date each invoice was created, not the date it was paid.
What is in the file
Each row is one invoice, with these columns:
Column | What it contains |
The invoice number, for example INV-2026000011.
The client organization the invoice belongs to.
Every line item with its quantity, for example "Landing Page (x1)".
The coupon code used on the invoice, if any. This is the code, not the discount amount.
The total of the line items before discount and tax.
The tax amount.
The amount charged: subtotal minus the discount, plus tax.
To work out the discount on an invoice, subtract tax from grand_total and compare it with subtotal.
Working with invoices through the API
If you want to automate this, the ManyRequests API lets you list invoices, get one invoice, create invoices and mark them as paid. See How to get started with the ManyRequests API. The API is available on the Pro and Core plans.
