Where to Find Client Cancellation Reasons

Learn where client cancellation comments are stored in ManyRequests and how to access them.

πŸ“Œ Use Case

You get a message from someone on your team asking, β€œA client cancelled and left a comment. Where can we see it?” You log into ManyRequests and check the subscription page, the client profile, even the requests, but nothing shows up. If you have ever wondered where those cancellation comments actually go, this guide explains it quickly.

Where Cancellation Reasons Are Stored

At the moment, ManyRequests does not display cancellation reasons inside the UI.

When a client cancels a subscription and fills out the optional comment box, that message is sent directly to the account admin by email.

You can think of it as a small safety net for agency owners. Instead of the comment getting buried inside a subscription card, you get a clean email notification that contains the exact reason the client shared.

How to Retrieve Cancellation Reasons

1. Check your email inbox

The admin receives an email every time a cancellation occurs. This message includes:

  • The customer who cancelled

  • The subscription they cancelled

  • The written reason or comment they provided

2. Review your Zapier automations (optional)

If your agency uses automation, you can also capture cancellation reasons through Zapier.

ManyRequests sends a webhook event when a subscription is cancelled. Once connected, your Zap can forward the cancellation details to tools like Slack, Notion, Google Sheets, Airtable, or your CRM.

This setup helps teams:

  • Track churn patterns

  • Organize client feedback

  • Trigger follow up workflows

3. Keep an internal log for future reference

Since the comments are not yet visible in the dashboard, some agencies keep a simple internal log. It can be as basic as a spreadsheet where you paste cancellation reasons to identify trends later.

Right now, cancellation reasons appear only in the admin email notification. If you want deeper visibility or tracking, Zapier is the best way to capture those events automatically.
