How to Turn On/Off Invoicing Visibility for Clients

Learn how to easily manage whether your clients can view their invoices inside the portal, giving you full control over billing visibility.

📌 Use Case

Let’s say you’re running a creative agency and not every client needs to see their invoices directly inside the portal. For example, maybe some clients have billing handled through their finance department. In that case, you can turn off invoice visibility for them.

On the other hand, if you want to make billing more transparent and save back-and-forth emails, you can keep invoices visible so clients can access them anytime.

Steps to Manage Invoice Visibility

  1. Log in to your ManyRequests dashboard

  2. Select Settings > Modules and Extensions

  3. Select Users

  4. Scroll to the Clients section

  5. Look for Billing and enable / disable the invoice visibility

  6. Save your changes

What Clients Will See

  • When enabled: Clients can log in and view/download their invoices under the Invoices.

  • When disabled: Clients won’t see invoices listed, and you’ll need to provide them directly via email or another method.
