How to Create Templates and Checklists on Requests

Written by Regine Garcia

📌 Use Case:

Let’s say you run a creative agency managing multiple branding, web, or content projects for clients. Every time you receive a new design request, there’s a set of standard steps your team follows - like kickoff, concept approval, design rounds, client feedback, and delivery.

Instead of typing out these subtasks or checklists for every new request, you want to save time and ensure consistency. ManyRequests allows you to create reusable checklist templates, so every project starts organized and nothing falls through the cracks.

What are Templates and Checklists in Requests?

  • Checklists/Subtasks: Task lists within each client request, helping you break work into small, manageable steps.

  • Templates: Pre-saved sets of subtasks/checklists that can be quickly added to any new (or existing) request, so you don’t have to recreate your process every time.

💡 Tips

  • Standardize your agency process: Templates help maintain quality and reduce missed steps (especially as your team grows).

  • Different templates for different services: Create unique templates for different types of requests, like “Logo Design,” “Landing Page Build,” or “Ad Campaign.”

  • Duplicate requests with checklists: For recurring projects, you can also duplicate an entire request with all its checklists included.
