A draft is a request your client has started but not sent yet. It stays private to the client who saved it: your team does not see it and nothing is submitted until the client finishes it. Drafts help clients:
avoid losing a request they filled in halfway
gather missing files or details before sending
review the brief before it reaches your team
Use case: Your client starts a request for social media graphics for an upcoming campaign. Halfway through, they realize they are missing the brand guidelines and some images. Instead of abandoning the form or sending an incomplete brief, they save it as a draft and finish it later.
Good to know: drafts are a client feature. Only clients see the Drafts tab and the Save as draft button.
Save a request as a draft (client view)
In the sidebar, click Requests, then click Create Request at the top right.
Pick a service and fill in the request. Save as draft appears once the request has a title.
Click Save as draft.
You see the message "Request draft saved." The draft is now in your Drafts tab. When you reopen a draft and click Save as draft again, it updates that draft ("Request draft updated.").
Open and finish a draft (client view)
In the sidebar, click Requests and open the Drafts tab. The list shows each draft's title, who created it, its service, brand and dates.
Click the draft's title, or click the three-dot menu and select Start request.
Complete the form and click Create Request. The request is sent to your agency and the draft is removed from the Drafts tab.
Delete a draft
In the Drafts tab, click the draft's three-dot menu and select Delete.
Confirm with Delete in the Delete draft? window. This can't be undone.
FAQ
Can my team see a client's drafts?
No. A draft is only visible to the client who saved it, until they submit it.
Why is there a draft called "... - copy"?
When a client clones one of their requests, ManyRequests creates a draft with the same details and " - copy" added to the title, so they can adjust it before sending.
