A client wants to move to a higher or lower service tier. As an admin, you can update their subscription directly from their portal. Clients can also manage this themselves through self-service; there is no need to go back and forth over messages.

âNote: Upgrade and downgrade options are only available for accounts connected to Stripe.
Admin View: How to upgrade or downgrade subscriptions
1. On your dashboard, click Users on the left sidebar, then select Clients.
2. Find and click on the desired client or organization from the list.
3. On the Organization Details page, scroll to the Services and Subscription section.
4. Hover over the service you want to update and click the vertical three dots icon on the upper right of the service card.
5. If the service was added through Stripe, youâll see Update in the drop-down menu. From here, you can update the clientâs subscription to a different plan, apply a discount, or pro-rate their subscription. Admins can also schedule the upgrade or downgrade to take effect on the clientâs next renewal, and apply discount coupons at the same time.
6. Click Submit.
Client View: How to upgrade or downgrade subscriptions
1. On your dashboard, click Settings on the left sidebar, then select Profile and Account.
2. Select Subscriptions to view your active services.
3. Find the subscription you want to upgrade or downgrade and click the vertical three dots icon on the upper right of the service card.
4. If the service was added through Stripe, youâll see Update in the drop-down menu. From here, you can switch your subscription to a different plan, apply a discount, or pro-rate your subscription. You can also schedule the upgrade or downgrade to take effect on your next renewal and apply discounts at the same time.
5. Click Submit.
