Using ManyRequests on your phone and tablet

The whole portal works in your phone or tablet browser. Here's how navigation, requests, files, messages and settings work on a small screen.

Use case: you want to answer a client, update a request or review time while you're away from your desk, or your clients want to follow their requests from their phone.

Since September 2026, the whole ManyRequests portal works on phones and tablets: requests, messages, files, timesheets, organizations, invoices, services and settings. You and your clients use it in the mobile browser, at the same address as on your computer. There is no app to download.

Sign in on your phone

  1. Open your portal address in Safari, Chrome or any other mobile browser. It's the same address you use on your computer, including your custom domain if you have one.

  2. Sign in with your usual email and password.

Tip: bookmark the page or add it to your home screen from your browser's share menu, so you can open it in one tap.

Find your way around

On a phone, the sidebar is tucked away. Tap the menu icon at the top left to open it, and tap outside it or the close button to hide it again.

The top bar keeps the page title and notifications in view. On the requests list, the create button shortens to Create. On pages you opened from a list, the menu icon becomes a back arrow.

Work with requests

  • Requests list: each request shows as a card with its status, priority, due date and assignees. Tap the card to open it. Tabs like Open and All scroll sideways.

  • Filters: tap the filter icon next to the search box to open Filter and sort. Choose your options and tap Done.

  • Bulk actions: tick the boxes on several cards, and the actions dock to the bottom of the screen.

Inside a request, the tabs (Activity, Details, Files, Checklists, Timesheets) scroll sideways. The number, client, organization, service, brand and tags that sit in the right-hand panel on a computer are under More details on the Details tab.

  • Comments: the editor shows the main formatting buttons, with the rest under a more menu.

  • Files and feedback: files open full screen. You can leave feedback on a file from your phone: tap Comment, then tap the spot you want to comment on.

  • Timesheets: tap an entry's date line to edit it. Adding time opens a full-width form.

Messages

On a phone, the conversation list takes the full screen. Tap a conversation to open it, and use the back arrow (or your browser's back) to return to the list.

Tablets

On a tablet in landscape, you see the sidebar and the full requests table, like on a computer. The right-hand panel appears on requests from 1024 pixels wide, and on organizations from 1280 pixels wide. On narrower screens, like a tablet in portrait, its details move under More details.

Good to know

  • Browser notifications: pop-up browser notifications aren't available on iPhone and iPad, or in Safari. You still get email and in-app notifications. See How notifications work and how to edit notification settings.

  • Settings: every settings page works on a phone, with the save bar at the bottom of the screen. Code fields, like custom CSS, become plain text boxes on small screens, so complex edits are easier on a computer.

  • Clients: your clients get the same phone-friendly portal for creating requests, commenting and reviewing files.
