Use case: You've just decided to try ManyRequests. In a few minutes you want a branded portal with your team invited, a way to get paid and a first set of services your clients can buy.
Setting up a new portal happens in three parts: you sign up, a short setup wizard walks you through the essentials, and a Getting started checklist on your dashboard covers the rest.
1. Sign up for a free trial
Go to the free trial page and click Continue with Google, or fill in First name, Last name, Email and Password and click Start your free trial. No credit card is needed.
On the Almost there! screen, enter your Agency website, choose What type of services do you offer? and pick how many team members work in your agency. Then click Continue.
Your portal is created. You'll see a short Your portal will be ready in a moment. screen, then the setup wizard opens.
Your answers about your agency are used to suggest starter services later in the wizard.
2. Complete the setup wizard
The wizard has four steps: Brand, Team, Billing and Services. Use Continue to save a step and move on, Back to return, or Skip for now to come back to it later. On the last step, click Finish.
Brand
Set your Portal name, upload a Logo for light and dark backgrounds and pick your Brand color. The Live preview shows how your Client portal, Checkout and Invoice will look.
Team
Under Invite your team, enter a colleague's email, choose Admin or Team member and click Add. You can always invite people later.
Billing
Choose how you'll get paid:
Set up billing connects Stripe for automatic invoicing, payment tracking and subscription management. After connecting, you come back to this step and see Stripe connected.
Enable manual payments lets you handle payments outside the platform. Add a Payment method name (for example, bank transfer) and Instructions for your clients.
Skip billing for now if you're not ready. You can connect billing at any time from the billing settings.
Services
Answer How do you typically charge your clients? with One-off projects, Monthly retainer, Hourly rate or Mixed (varies by service). ManyRequests generates a few starter services with AI based on your agency type. Review the Generated services: edit or delete any of them, click Regenerate for new suggestions, or click Add a service to add your own. Each service can have its own currency.
Good to know: Exit onboarding at the top of the wizard ends the setup and takes you to your dashboard. The wizard doesn't open again after that, so finish anything you skipped from the Getting started checklist or from Settings.
3. Finish the Getting started checklist
After the wizard, your dashboard shows a Getting started checklist. A small Getting started widget also follows you on other pages; click Minimize to collapse it. It has six steps:
Watch a quick demo: a 2-minute video on getting your first requests.
Set up your brand: add your logo and brand colors.
Invite a client: send an invite link to a real client.
See your client portal: preview the portal as a client would see it.
Customize services: edit your services or add new ones.
Connect billing: connect Stripe or enable manual payments.
Set up your brand and Connect billing are ticked off automatically if you did them in the wizard. Customize services is only ticked once you create or edit a service from Services, even if you saved starter services in the wizard. To skip a step you don't need, click the X on it. The checklist disappears once every step is done or skipped. Only portal admins and admins see it.
FAQ
I closed the wizard by mistake. Can I get it back?
No, but everything in it is available in Settings: brand under portal settings, team under Users, billing under the billing settings and services under Services.
Who sees the setup wizard?
Only the portal admin. Admins and team members you invite go straight to the dashboard.
Can I change the starter services later?
Yes. They're normal services. Edit or delete them any time from Services.
