You want to offer clients access to your service at a reduced cost before their full subscription begins. A paid trial lets you charge a smaller amount for a set number of days, giving clients a low-commitment way to get started while still generating revenue from day one.
Note: Trial periods are only available for Recurring services. This option is not available for One-off services.
How to Create a Paid Trial
On your dashboard, click Services on the left sidebar, then select All Services.
Click Create Service to begin setting up a new service.
âUnder Service type, select Recurring and click Next.
âEnter your Service name, Description, and upload a Service image. Click Next.
âUnder Pricing details, select Standard as your pricing type. Enter your regular subscription Price in USD and select a Recurring period, for example, Monthly
Toggle on Enable trial period. Two new fields will appear:
Trial Amount - enter the reduced amount you want to charge during the trial periodâ for example, 49 for $49 USD
Trial Period - enter the number of days the paid trial will lastâ for example, 7 for a 7-day paid trial
7. Click Next, proceed through the remaining steps to customize your request form, then click Save.
