📌 Use Case
Let’s say your client comments on a logo concept, and a few days later you upload an updated design. Without version control, it’s easy for feedback to get mixed up between the old and new files. With Version Control, every upload is tracked and organized - so you and your client always know which version is being discussed.
How to Use Version Control
Open the Annotated File
Go to the specific file within the request that has annotations or previous uploads.
Upload a New Version
Click Add new version or drag and drop the latest file update. The system will automatically save it as the Latest version (Version 2, Version 3, etc.).
View Version History
Use the Version history dropdown to view older uploads. Each version is timestamped and retains its respective annotations.Compare or Review Older Versions
You can switch between versions anytime to review progress or clarify past feedback.
Keep Feedback Organized
Comments and markups stay tied to their original file version, ensuring accurate context and smoother revisions.
Tips for Better Version Management
Add short notes when uploading new versions (e.g., Updated based on client feedback from 11/03).
Encourage clients to comment only on the latest version to reduce back-and-forth.
