📌 Use Case
Let’s say you’re running a creative agency with a small team. You sign up for the Core plan at $59/month, which includes 1 seat. As your team grows, you invite two more designers to collaborate in your client portal.
This is where seat pricing comes in: you only pay for the seats you actually use, and billing updates automatically.
How Seat Pricing Works
Base Plan Includes 1 Seat
Every subscription plan comes with 1 included seat. Additional team members beyond that are billed as extra seats.
Example:
Core plan = $59/month (includes 1 seat)Add 2 more seats = +$40/month (2 seats x $20/seat)
Total = $99/month
Billing for Extra Seats
When you add seats mid-cycle, we calculate a prorated charge based on the remaining time in your billing period
Example:
If you add 2 extra seats halfway through the month, you’ll only pay $10 per seat (instead of $20) immediately
On your next renewal date, the full $20/seat will be billed
Viewing Your Current Subscription
You can always see your active plan and seat usage in your subscription settings.
It looks something like this:
Annual Plans and Seats
If you’re on an annual plan, extra seats are billed annually as well.
Example:
Core or Starter seat = $180/year (per extra seat)The extra seats will align with your main subscription period
What Happens if my Payment Fails?
If your credit card fails while adding a seat, the system will still let you add it.
Our team will then help resolve the failed payment, just like with a regular subscription renewal.
