📌 Use Case:
Imagine you're managing dozens (or even hundreds) of client requests each month. Keeping track of them manually or by title alone can quickly get messy.
That’s where Request Numbers come in handy. By enabling this feature in your ManyRequests dashboard, each new request gets a unique reference number, making it easier to sort, track, and communicate about specific tasks with your team or clients.
What Are Request Numbers?
When enabled, ManyRequests will automatically assign a unique reference number to every new request submitted. This is especially useful for agencies that need to log or reference tasks with clients or internally (for example “Request #1053”).
How to Enable Request Numbers
On your ManyRequests dashboard
Go to Settings
Click on Modules and Extensions
Under Requests, find the Request Numbers
Toggle it ON to enable
Set your Base Number
Set Your Base Number
Once enabled, you'll be prompted to input a Base Number. This will be the starting number for your request sequence (e.g., starting from 1000, 5000, etc.). This is useful if you want to continue from a previously used system or look more established to clients.
Note:
Request numbers only apply to new requests submitted after the feature is turned on.
Older requests (those submitted before enabling the feature) will not have numbers retroactively added.
Where Can You Find the Request Numbers?
There are three areas you can find the request numbers.
