When you manage many clients, assigning the right people to every new request by hand slows you down. Set account managers on an organization, and ManyRequests assigns them to each new request from that organization.
Use case
You run a design subscription. One project manager and one designer look after Northwind Studio. Make them its account managers, and every new request from Northwind Studio is assigned to them from the start.
Set account managers on an organization
In the sidebar, open Users and click Clients. Open the Organizations tab and click the organization.
In the right-hand panel, click the avatars next to Account manager.
Tick the team members you want to assign, then click Update.
If you added new people, the Confirm new account managers window asks if they should also take over the organization's open requests. Tick Assign to the new account managers to add them to those requests, then click Continue.
How auto-assignment works
Account managers are assigned to every new request from the organization, whether a client creates it in the portal or it comes in through Zapier.
If someone picks assignees while creating the request, those assignees are used instead of the account managers.
Changing account managers doesn't touch existing requests, unless you tick Assign to the new account managers when you add someone. Removing an account manager doesn't unassign them from requests.
Good to know:
By default, only admins can change account managers. To let team members change them too, go to Settings > Modules and extensions > Users and turn on Access all clients under Team members.
Want someone to get updates without being assigned? Add them under Default followers instead. They follow every new request from the organization.
